Meet Andrew, a UI/UX intern at MindSnacks Hey Andrew, welcome to the team! How is your day going? It’s going very well — it is a Friday, after all, and that means Show and Tell… Yes, we love Show & Tell! Every Friday at MindSnacks it’s like kindergarten all over again but for grown-up engineers. It’s the best. Andrew, in order to truly understand you, we need to know what your spirit animal is. Go. My spirit animal is probably a koala bear because they’re awesome. Did you know that koalas consume eucalyptus almost exclusively, which contains toxins that basically make them permanently dizzy? Just a little fun fact for you. The side effects are actually fairly minimal, but they barely ever move and often fall out of trees which may or may not be super adorable. Let’s go back in time and talk about middle school in all its glory, because those years are always relevant. What was your favorite song to awkwardly slow dance to? “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson. Tough to slow dance to, but I made it work. Andrew there is just no way that worked, but special thanks for keeping Kelly’s grammatical choices consistent. If U (haha, get it?) had to marry a cartoon character, who would it be and why? I’d marry Daphne from Scooby Doo so I could go solve mysteries and ride around in the Mystery Machine. That’s a brave choice. Wasn’t she paired up with the blonde guy? Are you a woman-stealer? We’ll forgive you for the sake of fantasy and also because we’re not sure of Scooby Doo’s inter-character relationships. Last question for you: if we could make a new game designed specifically for you, what would you want it to teach? Latin or Arabic — both are really interesting languages.
