1. Welcome to today’s installment of Meet a MindSnacker!

Okay fine, the first installment of Meet a MindSnacker. Every day of this week and next, we’re going to post a photo and some questions of a MindSnacker who has joined the team in the last month or two so you can learn a little bit more about the hard-working people behind our games!

Meet Ted, a new developer at MindSnacks

We are so excited that you’ve joined the team! How is your day going?

I’m excited to be here! My day’s going great so far. Got up, had a good run, found a cool new place to get coffee on my way to work… It’s a little early, so I don’t have too much more than that.

Sounds like a perfect start. Now on to the critical stuff: if you could live in an alternate universe that exists in a book or movie what would it be?

I’m a huge fan of cyberpunk fiction, so I’m going to have to go with The Bridge Trilogy by William Gibson. It takes place a few years after California and Japan are rocked by mega-quakes. Tokyo rebuilds itself with nanotechnology that eventually gets out of control. California gets divided into the two different states of NorCal and SoCal. There’s a huge shantytown on the Bay Bridge, whole cultures that exist in cyberspace, and a character who is a virtual pop star. It’s crazy stuff.

Um, that sounds insanely awesome. We want to read it! Switching gears to something that actually exists, what’s your second favorite mobile app? (See what we did there?)

When I can steal my friend’s iPad, I’ve got to give it up to Pulse. I’m a sucker for a good music game. On my iPod Touch, though, I’ve been really getting into Hero Academy. I think I’ve got like 15 different games going now.

15?! We need to check that out. Tell us about a habit you probably should break but never will.

Speeding on the highway. The Jones Falls Expressway is a pretty curvy section of I-83 leading into Baltimore. I used to make the 10 mile run in about 7 minutes when I lived there.

Ted that is DANGEROUS! What are your plans tonight?

Going out for drinks with my new favorite team!

Best plans ever!
